Summer Strength - Back to Basics!

Learn to Lift — The Right Way

Ever walked into a gym and thought,
"I have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing here?"

You’re not alone — and that’s exactly what this program is designed to fix.

Great for teens and college students home for the summer, and adults who want to learn to strength train safely and confidently.

This summer we’re offering 6-week strength training sessions focused on teaching the fundamentals of safe lifting and progressive overload — the proven method athletes use to build strength over time.

Open to anyone age 16 and up who wants to:
• learn proper lifting technique
• build strength safely
• feel more confident in the gym
• understand how to structure workouts that actually produce results

Training Options
• Private training
• Duo training (train with a friend)
• Small group class (Mondays & Wednesdays)

Session Dates
June 8 – June 29
July 6 – July 31

While WISEfit typically focuses on helping women in midlife build strength and confidence, this summer program opens that same coaching approach to anyone 16+ who wants to learn the foundations of strength training in a safe, supportive environment.

All sessions are coached by NASM-certified trainers.

To keep coaching individualized, class sizes are intentionally small and spots are limited.

It’s been years since I’ve been a regular in the gym, so getting some straightforward instruction on setup and safety is a welcome idea!

FAQs

Who is this class designed for?

Anyone age 14 and over interested in learning the fundamentals of strength training, including the basic lifts and critical form.

Do I need experience with strength training?

Not necessary! We’ll break down the foundational moves and progress from there. If you’ve got experience, we’ll meet you where you are, but if you’re a complete beginner, that’s fine too!

Is this class appropriate if I have an injury?

This class is not a good fit for injuries that are not well managed. If you’re in active rehab or cannot load safely, private training may be a better starting point.

How much does the class cost?

The six-week session is paid up front ($225 for 12 classes). We will accept occasional walk ins ($20) with prior approval.

When are classes held?

Strength classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:00 PM in Castle Rock.

How big is the class?

Classes are intentionally small to ensure personalized coaching, hands-on form correction, and appropriate progressions for each member.
