Strength for Women

WISEfit’s bi-weekly strength training class
for women aged 40 and above!

Learn to lift with proper form and technique so you build strength safely and confidently.

  1. Boost your metabolism by increasing lean muscle mass—helping your body burn more calories at rest.

  2. Combat age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia) and rebuild the strength that naturally declines after 40.

  3. Support healthy bones by training in ways proven to stimulate bone density and offset perimenopausal bone loss.

  4. Improve insulin sensitivity, reducing midlife weight gain driven by hormonal shifts.

  5. Enhance balance, stability, and mobility, lowering injury risk and helping you move with more ease in daily life.

  6. Feel stronger and more capable—in the gym and in your everyday life (carrying groceries, climbing stairs, travel, etc.).

  7. Train in a supportive, judgment-free environment with women who understand the same midlife transitions.

  8. Build consistency and accountability with a coach who understands midlife physiology and goals.

  9. Reduce stress and boost mood with a style of exercise that supports hormone health rather than working against it.

FAQs

Who is this class designed for?

Women ages 45–75 who want to build strength, confidence, and longevity through smart, progressive training.

Do I need experience with strength training?

A basic understanding of strength training is helpful. Total beginners are welcome, but may need an initial one-on-one session to learn foundational movement patterns before joining the group.

Is this class appropriate if I have an injury?

This class is not a good fit for injuries that are not well managed. If you’re in active rehab or cannot load safely, private training may be a better starting point.

How big is the class?

Classes are intentionally small to ensure personalized coaching, hands-on form correction, and appropriate progressions for each woman.

How much does the class cost?

Classes are invoiced monthly. You can choose:

  • 2 classes per week: $225/month

  • 1 class per week: $125/month

Packages renew monthly and guarantee your spot in class.

When are classes held?

Strength classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays at 12:30 PM in Castle Rock.

Can I drop in?

No drop-ins without a conversation first. Because this is a coached strength class, I want to ensure everyone is safe, prepared, and a good fit before joining.
